Back

Base Min and Max Damages start out at different ratios than Darkus and other Damage-increasing Fighter trainers train in (Which would be a 1:3 ratio). For each Race I list their Minimum, Maximum, and Average Damage values in relation to Darkus' training. The listed Average Darkus is the equivalent amount of Darkus that would yield the same amount of Damage on an average hit. When looking at the overall rank-value of a Race you should only count the Average Damage.

"Combined Offense" is the sum of a race's Accuracy and Damage stats, which determine the amount of Balance used per swing. Each rank of Atkus is worth 16 Offense points and each rank of Darkus is worth 6 Offense points. A race's average Damage determines the amount of balance consumed by that race's Damage stats. There is also a flat 100 points of Damage (about 0.9 Histia) applied to each hit that does not contribute toward Balance consumption. I include this extra Damage in the rank values and listed Damage ranges, but not in the "Combined Offense", as it doesn't count towards balance consumption.

"Total Fighter Ranks" is the total number of ranks that a race with 0 base stats would need to train to achieve the Fighter stats of a particular race, taking into consideration the fact that trainers like Atkus and Darkus give some "extras" in their ranks. These numbers do not utilize Swengus or Evus for their rank bonuses, so the actual differences between the races may vary slightly depending on how you train. These are for *core* Fighter ranks only (Atkus, Darkus, etc), not Troilus or any of the Spirit trainers. Average Darkus is used, rather than Minimum or Maximum Darkus.

After each stat I give it a ranking based on how good it is compared to Humans, using this system:
Pathetic: 12.1+ ranks less than Human
Poor: 6.1-12 ranks less than Human
Below Average: 1-6 ranks less than Human
Average: Less than 1 rank difference from Human
Above Average: 1-6 ranks more than Human
Good: 6.1-12 ranks more than Human
Great: 12.1-24 ranks more than Human
Exceptional: 24.1+ ranks more than Human
